President Buhari Wasn’t Looking For Ministers that Are Saints – Garba Shehu

OGA BUHARI , YOU MEAN SAY I GET THE MINISTER JOB ?

Diverse opinions have been expressed by the Nigerian masses concerning the delayed process of cabinet orchestration by President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to the widespread speculation, it is largely believed that the President, in the past four months, has been on the ultimate-search for virtuous individuals that could be entrusted with the missions of the ‘change’ government. Not until presently, the entire public has been made to believe that the incorruptible president was exercising this painstaking search for fellow saints. This, which has been described barely feasible, has been said to be an unfair assumption and wrong interpretation of the real intention of the President. The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, clarified this ambiguity in a recent interview with Daily TrustAfter some decent reactions on sundry national issues and developments in the Buhari administration, Garba Shehu made this remark that “people, who say that it takes President a long time because he has been looking for saints, are not being fair to him. Nothing like that comes from him.” The Spokesman explained that the President was only concerned about the rottenness in the system he inherited, and was only trying to flush it before bringing his team on board.Shehu further emphasized categorically that the time was not used in looking for saints or people of high moral calibre. However, he asserted that probably the President was looking for such kind of people, but more importantly, according to him, Mr. President doesn’t want to operate a system in which revenues will be stolen and transferred to private pockets in any sector of the government.
