Senate insists on revocation of land allocated to Jonathan, othersFormer President Goodluck Jonathan


The Senate Committee on the Federal Capital Territory on Wednesday vowed to maintain its stand on the revocation of the lands allocated to former President Goodluck Jonathan in the Maitama District of the FCT.
According to Senate Committee on FCT, other beneficiaries from the land allocation include the Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Uche Secondus; former Attorney-Grneral of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Bello Adoke;‎ former Bauchi State Governor, Isa Yuguda; and the late National Security Adviser, Andrew Okoye Azazi.
Briefing newsmen on Wednesday,‎‎ the Chairman of the Committee, Senator Dino Melaye, said no amount of threat will deter the committee from reversing all lands illegally allocated in the FCT.
Melaye categorically stated: “With this administration of change, it is no longer going to be business as usual.
