Black Boxes Of Crashed DANA Air Plane Leaves Nigeria
Minister of Aviation, Mrs Stella Oduah, has disclosed that the black boxes retrieved from the ill-fated Dana Air flight that killed over 153 persons in Lagos on Sunday is being sent to the United States of America today ( Thursday).
Mrs. Oduah told State House correspondents at the end of the 3-day national mourning that sending the black boxes to the US was to ensure that a thorough investigation was carried out to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the crash.
It would be recalled that reports quoting the NCAA DG said there was no survivor. "It was a Dana (airline) flight out of (the capital) Abuja to Lagos with about 153 people on board... I don't believe there are any survivors," Harold Demuren said.
