New York [RR] ABUJA—Ambassador Adefuye faced with unprecedented Embassy scandals has become a liability in Washington-DC, just as, failed Nigeria State has gotten to a ridiculous level. Lagos Human Rights Lawyer, Femi Falana agrees, and threatened to drag Nigeria leadership to International Crime Court (ICC). He also agrees with Executive Director, International Human-Rights Monitor (IHRM), Carlisle (Carl.) Umunna, in IHRM’s planned occupy-Nigerian-Embassy coming up July 26, 2012 in Washington-DC, in concert with other Human Rights Organizations. IHRM project will address massive incompetence, corruption, money laundry, Boko Haram’s killings, and other societal vices that face our peoples on a daily bases, Republic Reporters has learned.

It is critical and important that every Nigerian from all works of life see this as an opportunity to show outrage over these corrupt-politicians and their criminality, government negligence, and failed leadership across all political spectrum in what is called Nigeria.
IHRM Project gain a supporter in the person of Lagos lawyer Femi Falana, activists and international community.
Mr. Falana speaking to reporters yesterday said: “Not too long ago, Governor Jonah Jang claimed that he alerted the military authorities to an impending attack from some armed persons. As no precautionary steps were taken, there was a clash between two communities, which led to the killing of scores of people…
“On Thursday, July 2, 2012, there was an accident in Port Harcourt involving a tanker. Among the people scooping fuel from the tanker, about 200 persons were roasted in the inferno. While it is convenient to blame the tragic incident on greed and poverty, the Nigeria Police Force, Federal Road Safety Corps and others failed to cordon off the scene and carry out rescue operation. The officials, whose criminal neglect led to the unfortunate incident were not sanctioned.
‘’Many citizens are killed daily on roads that are in states of disrepair due to the failure of governments to fix them.
‘’On Saturday, July 14, 2012, two policemen and an official of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) died when the rickety boat hired by the INEC to convey electoral materials to the riverine area in Edo State capsized…
‘’Following the disloyalty of the JTF in Plateau State and the criminal negligence of the Police, FRSC etc. in Rivers State and the corrupt practices of INEC, the Federal Government must go beyond the ritual of sending condolence messages…
‘’The government must pay compensation to the families of those who were killed as a result of gross official negligence…
‘’If the Federal Government lacks the political will to prosecute the public officers engaged in the extra-judicial killing of unarmed Nigerian citizens we shall invite the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court.’’
To this end, International Human-Rights Monitor (IHRM) demands the following:
1). That Nigerian Ambassador Ade Adefuye resigns immediately, because he has abused his “Diplomatic immunities, rights, and privileges” and ultimately is now a liability and cannot discharge Embassy responsibilities effectively and efficiently faced unprecedented scandals;
2). Immediate overhaul of the Embassy in Washington-DC, that the Federal government at Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja institute a independent panel of inquiry with respect to missing $25Million accrued from Real Estate sales deposited in M & T Bank, and others, investigate the criminal activities of Ambassador Adefuye, EFCC, and more on what really happened to the missing funds, including investigation of money laundry allegations;
3). We demand that better equipped FBI, and CIA, be consulted in this investigation since, EFCC that the president ordered three weeks ago to investigate embassy scandals is comprised, as the letter from Ambassador Adefuye to anti-graft agency revealed. We think EFCC is also incapacitated. Findings from these investigations should form the pillar for immediate prosecution of individuals, companies and their collaborators who have duped the people and the country, and sharp punishments, imprisonments, and other consequences imposed accordingly; we demand that officials involved in distribution of 1.7 Trillion of oil-Subsidy from importation of petroleum products, be arrested and prosecuted according;
4). We demand that the government should overhaul Nigerian embassies around the world, since Nigerian embassies officials operations are one and the same thing wherever they are located, stealing from Visa fees/application fees, that it should not take more than 9 months to over these embassies;
5). We demand that the government make public Petrol Production and Distribution (PPD) policies directed at 500% local production of petroleum products within the space of 10months;
6). We strongly demand the government audit and make public the Nigerian Washington-DC accounts, and explain what happened to the $25Million accrued from Nigerian Real Estate Sales, 2004, with monthly interest of $350,000.00 since 2004 to 2012 with accurate embassy inventory rather than denials, and conflicting numbers from Embassy officials and M&T Bank officials;
7). We demand that massive corruption and money laundry at the Nigerian Washington-DC embassy should be addressed once and for all, and official crooks and perpetrators brought to justice. Nigerian Diaspora and larger population and suffering masses should not be made to pay for the incompetence and corruption by embassy official, and FCT-Abuja officials;
8). Finally we unequivocally demand that the government and its officials end the act of mockery at leadership, because if it underestimate the people’s power, and resolve to act, via massive protest at these diplomatic shamelessness and perfidy of officials at Nigerian embassies particularly Nigerian Washington-DC embassy, in addition, to the incessant rape, continuous insecurity and killings in the country by Boko Haram, government sponsored killings, by their friends and cronies within the government, it will live to regret these practices, one way or the other.
Please join us as we protest against incompetence, corruption, killings in the country, and express an uncompromised support for our people in the homeland, by defending our human rights, honor, and restore the dignity of our men, women, children and old people.
