Buhari to investigate Amaechi, As petitions Pile At EFCC.

 “Since President Buhari had promised to maintain a zero tolerance for corruption, he should not be silent on how the past administration in Rivers managed the affairs of the state.”“As we speak to you, we cannot trace the proceeds that emanated from all the government’s transactions that that took place in Rivers State.” The PDP Deputy Publicity Secretary in Rivers, Mr. Samuel Nwanosike, said while speaking to Newsmen on Tuesday in Port Harcourt.The Party has equally petitioned theEconomic and Financial Crimes Commission, with full details of alleged corrupt practices that took place under Rotimi Amaechi.It was Rotimi Amaechi’s masterstroke and political strategy that gave other five APC governors the balls to leave PDP. Had those governors remained with PDP, it would have been practically impossible to have an alliance of strange bedfellows who came together to form APC. He was also a master planner, one of the architects of Buhari’s victory at the Presidential polls. Did he work so hard to earn a victory for APC to cover his tracks? Did he mismanage the People’s money?  Is this call by the Rivers State Government and PDP politically motivated?
