A man has been sentenced to five years in prison for carjacking a woman who was in labor and on her way to the hospital in Annapolis.U.S. District Judge J. Frederick Motz sentenced 25-year-old Deverey Hasani-Jarod Kelley of Glen Burnie on Wednesday. The prison sentence will be followed by three years of supervised release.
Kelley pleaded guilty to pointing guns at two people on Copeland Street in Annapolis.

Prosecutors say the victims were going to the hospital because the woman was in labor.
Kelley and co-defendant Cornell Robinson forced the woman at gunpoint to a nearby building where they demanded money on March 2, 2014.
A male who was with the woman fled from the car and called the police.
According to the FBI, the woman repeatedly told the robbers that she was in labor and that she only a had keys to the car...

ShareRobinson took the victim's car key and left in the car with Kelley.
Officers from the Annapolis Police Department followed the stolen car as a handgun was thrown out of the window.
After driving for a few blocks, both men got out of the car and tried to run away. They were arrested by officers nearby.
Robinson was convicted in July and will be sentenced in November.
